We have made booking and cancelling sessions at Explorers Breakfast and After School Clubs easy using Scopay. You can pay, book or cancel sessions 48 hours or more in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged. There will be no charge if your child is off school ill. If you require last minute changes, please email us on 

explorers@cove-inf.hants.sch.uk. We accept payment using the Government's tax free scheme. You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year). Find out more here: https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare. We also accept childcare vouchers that are offered by some employers. If using the government scheme or vouchers, please email us to let us know prior to sending payment. We will need your unique reference number, the amount you are sending to us and details of how you wish your payment to be split across the two clubs.

‘Explorers’  is committed to providing a fun, relaxing, but stimulating environment encouraging friendship, teamwork, creativity and an enquiring mind. We will promote each child’s social, physical, moral and intellectual development. The children are given access to a wide variety of resources, and activities which will be planned taking their interests into account.

Our Breakfast Club runs from 8am to 8.40am each week day during term time only – Entrance is via the Green Room Door. Cost £4. 

A variety of healthy breakfast options are available along with a choice of drink. Fresh fruit is always available.

Our After School Club runs from 3.15pm to 5.30 pm each week day during term time only – Collection is via the Green Room Door. Cost £8 per session. Late collections will incur an additional charge of £10.

A varied and healthy snack will be provided along with a drink. Fresh fruit is always available.

Remembrance Day 2023

We remembered those that gave their lives as we made our poppies. We love how each one is unique, just like the fallen soldiers.

Diwali celebrations 10th November 2023

Such fun was had by all! We made salt dough diyas complete with battery tealights - we added loads of jewels and gems to brighten them up and reflect the light! We also made edible sparklers using bread sticks, icing and hundreds and thousands. We had hot chocolate with squirty cream and marshmallows, and icecream cones with hundreds and thousands to go along with our more healthy vegetable and fruit sticks and crackers. We also danced along to traditional diwali music. We will need the weekend to rest after all of that!

January 2024 so far! We are off to a busy and fun start to 2024!
