We have been learning about Titanic! From the build of the ship, right up until the fateful night when the ship struck the iceberg. We have been exploring the events that occurred and discovered the causes that led to this tragedy. We have also been looking at Significant people linked to the Titanic and have been researching facts using Primary and Secondary sources. We have been taking on the role of a passenger and have written a letter and a diary, showing what life was like on board the ‘unsinkable’ ship. The children will create their own Titanic Exhibition for the outcome. During this time you will be welcomed on board 'Titanic' where you will experience the different class systems as well as completing various activities to showcase the children's learning of the events that took place and the consequence of the disaster.
