Year 2 

 

Children explore how different faith communities represent the concept of God. They further explore the role of God within those different faiths and how God is represented. They share their opinions surrounding the concept of God. Through the Christian celebration of Advent and the Jewish celebration of Hannukah the children explore the symbolism of Light. They discuss the emotions associated with candle light and its importance to religious ceremony and celebration.
