Cove Infant School

Growing and Achieving together

Welcome

A very warm welcome to Cove Infant School

We are a small, friendly and happy school, set back from the main road in the centre of delightful grounds.  Built in 1954, Cove Infants has provided education to local children for many years – grandparents and parents of children who attend the school currently also used to attend here themselves!

Today, Cove Infant School continues to be a highly successful school that prides itself on providing an excellent education for children aged 4-7 years, including full ‘wrap around’ care with our Explorers Breakfast and After School Club

Our children have the opportunity, through a values based curriculum, to learn by first hand experiences and to discover who they are in a safe, stimulating and engaging environment.  We ensure that all of the children at Cove Infant School are provided with a solid foundation for them to confidently explore learning, as well as providing the skills to nurture, inspire and empower them to develop an ‘I can’ attitude.

We are continually developing wonderful community links, including with all of the local junior schools, to ensure that our children are fully prepared to continue their education as confident learners.  We have fantastic links with our feeder nursery schools, allowing us to ensure that your child is supported in their transition from nursery to Infant School in the best possible way.

Whether you are considering sending your child to Cove Infants, or whether they are already one of our incredible pupils, we hope that you find everything you need on our website.  If you would like any further information please feel free to contact us via the contact us page or by telephone.

We hope that your time with us will be a happy, positive and enjoyable one.
