Lunch Menus at Cove Infant School 

All of our school meals are prepared on site by Hampshire Education Catering Company. Information about the services they provide such as eligibility for free school meals and copies of the menus can be found on their website - see the link below. 

 

Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM)

All children in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school dinner, as part of the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) scheme, which has been running since September 2014.  The aim of this scheme is to help promote a healthy start to life. Studies suggest that young children eating a healthy meal together at lunchtime can improve their development and social skills.
