In Autumn 2 we learnt all about celebrations.
We started off talking about birthdays and how we celebrate them.
Then the children learnt about the festival of Diwali. We spent a full day learning about this festival and the children had so much fun. We made lots of rangoli patterns using bright colours, rice, sequins and foam shapes as well as on the ipads. The children listened to music, danced, created henna patterns, designed cards and also made diya candles.
The children participated in lots of discussion and had lots of fun celebrating!
