A strange map appears on the classroom window. It is soggy and torn and the places on the map have disappeared. Questions arise about maps and why they are important. Can we put Farnborough on the map? The children explore the local area, creating a range of maps to inform others of the amenities  in their local area. The children will  explore the importance  of aviation  and how Farnborough has changed over time.
