From the Zoo!
A box arrived from the zoo with a letter inside and we were very excited!
The letter asked us if we could measure the height, length and mass of some of the animals. We learnt how to measure length and height with cubes and objects, as well as measuring with centimeters on a ruler.
We then used balancing scales to compare the mass of the animals, using language such as 'heavier' and 'lighter'.
The zoo then asked us to measure the water in the animals' water bowls, so we learnt about volume and capacity.
We had lots of fun helping the Zoo and learnt a lot along the way!
