Children will explore the importance of light to themselves and how candle flames are an important reminder (symbol of important people and events. Children will recognise how candle flames are used at Hanukkah and Advent. The making of a Christingle, brings together understanding of light and the important elements within the children’s own lives before celebrating in our own candle lit service.
