Out of no where two knights appeared and had a contest. Later the children received a scroll from the knights explaining that they disliked their old game and they are bored, it has no rules and it was no fun to play! They were willing to time-travel back to the future if someone would make them a new game. The children set to work examining games they own to find out the key features and then they created mock ups of game-boards following a design brief set by the knights. As the game developed, each game piece gained a back story all interwoven to create a quest. They set to work writing the rules and instructions ensuring that the knights would not argue any more. For our outcome, we hosted our very own game quest where we tested out our board games and the knights returned to inspect the games. Wow! What a surprise they had.
