Living History
We really enjoyed spending the day learning about our new King and finding out about some of the things that we would see and experience through his Coronation.
After learning about the King and his family, we discussed some of the special traditions that make a Coronation special and important. We thought about what it means to be 'British' and enjoyed a range of activities such as; ordering timelines, designing and making crowns and using the 'Union Jack' to inspire us to create patterns.
We enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch too!
